Lincoln County Workforce
Lincoln County has an ongoing high unemployment rate. Lincoln County has heard about the desire for the next generation to find quality local employment while employers desire quality employees.The good news is Lincoln County has responded by creating a Workforce program to provide career path planning. The aim is to support the needed education, provide work, experience, on the job training and assistance in job career development.

YOUTH REQUIREMENTS
Turning Interest Into Action
**Low Income- At least one of the following**
*Needs additional assistance with education or employment
*Low math or reading skills
*A school dropout
*Homeless, a runaway or foster child
*Pregnant or parenting
*an offender
*Behind in high school credits

ADULT REQUIREMENTS
Turning Interest Into Action
**Dislocated Worker**
*Laid off/ terminated
*Plant closure / mass layoff
*Formerly self-employed
*Displaced homemaker
**Veterans - Ages 18 and older**
*US Citizen/ legal to work in the US
*Proof of residence within Lincoln County
*Males: comply with Selective Service requirements if born after Jan 1, 1960
**Documents Needed to Enroll**
*Nevada Drivers License or Identification Card
*Social Security Card
*If on SNAP or TANF- proof of participation
